What does it truly mean to take refuge in someone? Psalm 71 reminds us that God is our ultimate protector—the one we can always rely on and who has our back no matter what. Not only does He support us, but He also fights for us, even when we fall short or choose sin over His love. This psalm calls us to seek God’s closeness and to praise Him, not just with our words but through music and joy. As verse 23 says, “My lips shout for joy when I sing praises to you.” Let’s reflect on the comfort, protection, and boundless love we find in God today.
